Chief Scientific Officer Valentino Parravicini to speak at major cannabinoid-based drugs summit in Boston, Massachusetts

OCT is pleased to announce that its Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Valentino Parravicini, has been invited to attend as an expert speaker at the 4th International Cannabinoid Derived Pharmaceuticals Conference in Boston, Massachusetts.

This September, Valentino will be joined by others from across the cannabinoid research and drug development space, including industry and academic experts from major pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and world leading universities.

Valentino will be drawing on his more than 25 years’ experience in oncology, inflammation and immunology in both drug development and research, to speak a number of issues critical to this sector, including leveraging the different potentials of cannabinoids and medicinal cannabis, drug discovery R&D, early efficacy studies, regulation, and harnessing the potential that minor cannabinoid derivatives can have in improving patient outcomes and meeting unmet clinical needs.
